Opcode-1 is the first EP to be released by Partition 36. On it are three new tracks (numbers 1, 2, and 6), as well as a remix (track 3), and two remastered tracks from before Partition 36 existed. For the new songs, a decision was made soon after (incf partition-36) was finished to change the style of music just slightly to focus more on melody. In the end, the new songs on Opcode-1 are a little more pop or new-age sounding.

Track 3 is a remix of ROT13, which was first released on (incf partition-36).

Track six uses samples from the Going Linux podcast by Larry Bushey and Tom Chaudoir, which is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License.
